his is the OVA version that was produced due to popularity
of the television series "Knights of Ramune & 40 Fire".
It is the sequel to the story where Pafait and Cacao's sweet feelings
for Ramunes have not borne fruit. In this series, main staff has
been greatly changed and the story has taken a new turn with plenty
of love elements. The director is Yoshitaka Fujimoto of "Cyber Team
in Akihabara", the script writer is Katsumi Hasegawa of the same work.
It has been three years since the threat of "daijikuushin
(cosmic lightning)" was removed and peace reigned again. Cacao has
been training at the shrine as a shrine maiden while Pafait has gone
on a journey to become one. One day a command from the shrine priest
reaches Pafait telling her to "come back to the shrine".
Thinking she was at last to become a shrine maiden, she hurries back.
But the reason he called her back was to "go find the 4th Hero" and
to rescue him. The two head for the other dimension using their sacred powers. |

But once through the tunnel of light, they find themselves
in the middle of a war zone. One side is winning completely and soon
the battle is over. Then the winning side in a cruel act uses the laser
to burn away all the big cities on the planet surface. These people
were called <Giga Genos>. They claimed themselves to be with
the original hero.
Their cruel ways were not to stop there. Next,
they start to hunt down all the children. Unable to just stand
by and watch, Cacao and Pafait rescue the children from the enemy base.
They act as decoys so the children can escape but when trying

end up in one of the rooms deep
inside the base. There they find a young man who looks like he
is the head of the bad guys. But he claims he is the Hero Ramunes
IV.....
