word clashes against sword over the legendary magical sword "Mizuchi"!
A historical fiction staged in Edo era. The very popular game software
has become OVA filled with beautiful girls originally featured in the game.
The time is Edo. Because his father Tetsu-shusai disappeared
from the Tateoka Dojo, his only son Shinjuro must take over the dojo. Koharu
who is secretly in love with him feels he is too undependable to be left alone
and decides to move into the dojo. Then a young girl comes to visit Tetsu-shusai.
Her name is Reirin and she claims she is the daughter of the man who looked
after Tetsu-shusai when he was in China for his training. It is decided that
she should stay at the dojo also until Tetsu-shusai returns.
With the two new members joining them, Tateoka Dojo becomes quite lively.

Requested by the civic office, Shinjuro goes out to patrol the town in the evenings.
He sees suspicious figures and as he chases after them, Enra from the Shuhei Juku (School) blocks his way.
He tells Shinjuro to go home because the territory is under their control.
Shinjuro is reluctant but he turns back.
One day, the town of Edo is covered in flames. Shinjuro goes
out to the town to save people who have been left behind but there he finds Mikage,
the head master of Shuhei Juku. It seems that he burned down the town
to get his hands on the mysterious seal that has been handed down since antiquity.
He tells Shinjuro, "Now I can use the Mizuchi" and when he lifts
up the sword called "Mizuchi" a strange powerful energy pervades the air.
And Mikage disappears from the spot.

fire of Edo, Reirin has disappeared
as well as Mikage. Mystery deepens. Then suddenly Shinjuro
is ordered to report to the Edo Castle. There he meets with the Shogun
Yoshimune Tokugawa and Reirin who he thought had disappeared.
Yoshimune tells the shocking truth to surprised Shinjuro.
The legendary magical sword "Mizuchi" which had been handed down
since ancient times had been stolen and Shinjuro's father Tetsu-shusai had
gone in search of the sacred sword "Korin" (Wheel of Light) that could
counter its power. Reirin was the last in lineage of protectors
of the sacred sword. Now that Mikage possessed the Mizuchi what he wanted next
was to fight with Shinjuro. But in order to fight Mikage, Shinjuro was
in dire need of the sacred sword.
