around Utena in
a nonchalant manner. Utena is unable to understand her
and is perplexed. She tries to be friends with Ancy in a normal
manner but things grow more mysterious without her getting any
wiser about what the girl is really feeling. Other characters
include Utena's ex-boyfriend, Fuyume Kiryu, the one who is known
as the prince of fencing, Juri Arisugawa and the school director
and Ancy's brother, Akio Ohtori.... Centering on Ancy, other duelists,
and people who have some kind of connection to all this and their
secret agendas create a great whirlpool into which Utena is sucked in.
It is impossible to tell how the events and people relate to each
other till the very end.

television series that gained popularity because
of its surrealistic and　original worldview has been made into
an animation film. The strange view of the world remains the same
but the setting and character design have been made new, creating
a new Utena world. This is a compilation of beautiful and graceful
"Revolutionary Girl Utena".
A male student, Utena Tenjo, transfers to the private
Ohtori High School. He receives a ring imprinted with a strange crest
from a rose in the rose garden. It is a ring that marks the "duelist"
who can win the "rose
bride" by becoming the victor of a duel.
The "rose bride" is a girl named Ancy Himemiya. The one who would win
a duel could have possession of her and "create a world revolution".
Not really knowing what is going on,Utena will fight Saionji
who has the possession of the rose bride Ancy at the present.
Utena begins to fight Saionji without a sword but amidst the battle,
long strands of hair fall out of her hat. It turns out Utena is
actually a girl. At that moment, a sword comes out of Ancy's breast.
Utena pulls it out and wins against Saionji, thereby forming
an engagement with Ancy. From that moment on, Utena is in possession
of the "rose bride". Ancy is a strange girl. Not minding
at all that she is treated as something to be possessed, she hangs
